In "After the 11th," I have identified the emotional and itellectual states I've gone through since Sept. 11 and am creating a corresponding artwork for each. (Disbelief, Shell Shock, Admiration of Bravery, Violation, Feeling the War is being marketed to us, etc. 34 pieces in all) The series is about half way complete.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

I'm an artist living and working in the West Village. I have been working as an artist for 11 years now, with exhibitions in England, France, New Zealand, S.F., Anchorage, Mississippi, Missouri and mostly New York. Until they closed down at the end of 2001, I showed at Bridgewater/Lustberg Gallery in Soho. My work is in the permanent collection of several small museums and I have an artist's book in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art here in N.Y. My work is becoming increasingly political in its focus.
