mediated experience - are collaged images, is a series of work that was created between the beginning of 2000 to 2002. I realised that there was an alternative other than just letting myself be submissively mediated by the advertising world, infotainment & whining about it. It was time to actually enjoy what it offers me and actively use all that is thrown in my path as a source of material. Thus after liberating myself from the moral stance of mere judgment, exploiting the process of being mediated has empowered my visual application to a point of no return.

am a artist & curator & co-director of furtherfield.org, creative
activist, liberationist, street artist, electro punk musician with the
band 'Ouch Those Monkeys', also I a writer, poet. In fact i create in
whatever medium I fancy exploring with at the time. I have no institutional
educative background which is a conscious decision, an artist without
official qualification. I am the medium of my work, therefor able to put
my ideas into action without having allegience to any specific medium.
